On-Campus & Remote Programs

Payment

Payment must be received at least 15 business days prior to the start of the program. Credit cards are the preferred method of payment and are accepted at the time of registration. Payment by wire transfer or check is also accepted but must be received at least 15 business days prior to the start of the program. Within 15 business days of the program start, we cannot hold spaces for participants that are not paid in full. Therefore, we highly recommend that you pay first with a credit card and then seek reimbursement from your employer.

*Cybersecurity Bootcamp has a different payment process.

Program Cancellation

U-M reserves the right to amend its programs as necessary due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen events. In the event of a program cancellation, participants will be notified via email or phone and will be given the option for a full *refund or to transfer their registration to another course. U-M is not responsible for costs incurred by registrants (e.g., non-refundable airfare, hotel charges, etc.). Therefore, we recommend that you purchase refundable airline tickets.

*In alignment with the University of Michigan merchant procedures, all requested refunds will be returned to the original form of payment.

Online Programs

Payment must be received in full before the course start date. Access cannot be given until payment is received. Credit cards are the preferred method of payment and are accepted at the time of registration. Payment by wire transfer or check is also accepted.

Transfers, Withdrawals, Substitutions

On-Campus & Remote Programs

Transfers

One transfer is allowed per registration and must be received in writing more than 15 business days before the program starts. If received less than 15 business days before the program, the one-time transfer will incur a $250 fee. For any additional transfers, students must re-enroll at the full tuition rate.

If you transfer to another offering less than 15 days before the program, you are not eligible for any future refund. If you choose to withdraw at any point prior to the next offering, you will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests received less than 15 business days prior to the start of the program will incur a 100% cancellation fee. All withdrawals must be received in writing (via email or written correspondence). Registrants who fail to attend without advance notice are liable for the entire course fee.

Student Subtitutions

Substitutes for registrations can be accommodated for the same course and with an advance written notice at least 5 business days prior to the start of the course. In the event of illness, injury, or family emergency, exceptions to this policy can be made, and we ask that you please contact us.

Online Programs

After the course has been accessed or started, no refunds, transfers, or substitutions are permitted.  In the event of illness, injury, or family emergency, exceptions to this policy may be made, and we ask that you please contact us.

*If a refund is provided the process will align with the University of Michigan merchant procedures, all requested refunds will be returned to the original form of payment.

Discounts

The following GoBlue pricing discounts are available and cannot be combined. Please contact us at nexus-answers@umich.edu for a promotional code that will allow you to apply the eligible discount to your registration.

With 15 or more enrollments, you may want to consider a custom program for your organization. Please contact us to learn more about our partnership opportunities.

Once you have paid a discount can not be added retroactively.
